The Dog Spot provides dog boarding seven days a week, 365 day a year. We are open for drop offs and pick ups Monday through Saturday from 6:30am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 6:30pm and on Sundays from 7:00am to 10:00am and 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Unlike some of the other boarding facilities, ALL dogs participate in SUPERVISED playgroups ALL day long, with the exception of naptime, which is from 12:00pm to 2:00pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 to 3:00 on Sundays.
Do I have to bring my dog in to meet you before before boarding?
Yes. Because all dogs partake in the daycare when they board with us, we require that all dogs come for at least one day of daycare before they can board with us. We do this to ensure that we are good fit for your dog and it is nice for the dog to be able to come for the day, experience what The Dog Spot is all about, while meeting the other dogs and staff, so that when they come to board, they are comfortable being left with us. This first day is just like a regular day of daycare, so please refer to our “Dog Daycare” page for details.
What do I need to bring for my dog to spend the night?
You definitely want to bring their own food. Changing their diet abruptly causes added stress that we would like to avoid, so just bring their food in a sealable container with instructions regarding how much they eat and how often, and we will ensure they get it. We can also manage special diets, that may require refrigeration, freezing, and microwaving. Try not to bring any treats or food that they do not normally receive, as it may be too much change for their system. In addition to their food and treats, feel free to bring a toy and/or a bed to be used solely for them, when they are in their kennel. We provide them with bowls, a fleece blanket, and a kong.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes. We require reservations because we limit the number of dogs in our playgroups. Keep in mind, that we do fill up usually months in advance for holidays, so please plan ahead and call to make your reservation today.
How much do you charge?
