Rufus

Meet the New Kid! This is Rufus, all 4 pounds of him. He’s a 1 and a half year old Yorkie that came to us looking to make some new buddies- Mission Accomplished!! He only spent a few hours at The Dog Spot, but he made lots of new friends. And for never being in a group of dogs before, he did excellent! We can’t wait for him to come back on Thursday and make even more new friends!

Meet the new kid- It’s Rosie, a 7 month old Shepherd/ Cattle Dog mix from the Humane Society.  She was a little nervous when she first arrived, but once she met all of the other dogs, there was no containing her excitement!  She made tons of new friends and had a great time.   She is a natural water dog, spending the majority of her day in the pools, and running between pools.  Her best buddies of the day were Telluride, a 1 year old Silver Lab, and Eloise, a 1 year old Collie mix.  Rosie is bursting with energy, and we would love to have her back at The Dog Spot anytime!

Playa and Tegra are inseparable!

It was the first day at The Dog Spot for both Playa, a 5 month old Mutt rescued from Mexico, and Tegra, a 5 month old Chihuahua mix from Hollywood.  They bonded instantly and the rest is history.

Playa had an absolute blast at The Dog Spot!  She was a little nervous when she first met the other dogs, but after observing their play, she decided to partake in the action!  Her favorite playmates included Tegra, Niko, a 1 year old German Shepherd, and Ike, a 3 year old Boxer.  Her favorite activities were running around the yards, wrestling with the other dogs, playing in the cool water in the pools, and getting attention from her new human friends.  Playa is a very sweet and playful young dog, and we hope to have the opportunity to watch her grow up!

Tegra also had an absolute blast at The Dog Spot!  She was thrilled to be here from the moment she
first arrived, and she was ecstatic upon meeting the other dogs.  Her favorite playmates included Playa,  Clover, a 3 year old Puggle, Fizzgig and Willson, 2 year and 10 month old Pomeranian brothers, Niko, a 1 year old German Shepherd, and Ike, a 3 year old Boxer.  Her favorite activities were running around the yards, splashing around in the pools, wrestling with the other dogs, and getting attention from her new human friends.  Tegra is a VERY social and energetic little girl, and we hope to have her back again soon!  She is a wonderful addition to The Dog Spot and she fits right in!
